Mission-Led Coproduction Facillitator Training 

Our grassroots, hands-on, mission-led coproduction training is a comprehensive, step-by-step course for facilitators. It covers everything a team needs to know to inform and drive systemic change with marginalised communities.

Mission-led coproduction begins with establishing a shared sense of purpose or mission. Participants are guided through a three-step process to develop a mutually agreed theory of change at both grassroots and systemic levels.

The Big Red Kick mission-led coproduction model follows this three-step process:

- Share evidence to create user personas.

- Develop user stories.

- Create a story map to explore grassroots needs, services, and systemic change.

Our one-day course is designed for those already working within the community or in the field of community engagement, coproduction, or improving community outcomes. It explores the tools and techniques needed to successfully deliver mission-led coproduction with a range of stakeholders.

Mission-led Coproduction 

Mission -led coproduction methodology starts with the premise that defining a shared mission with stakeholders is the fundamental foundation of coproduction. Our practical tools and activities guide participants on a journey that brings commercial product system design practices into the public and community sector.

Participants will learn how to facilitate the delivery of the mission-led coproduction methodology through the following steps:

Step One - User Persona 

A user persona is a common marketing and project development tool. Personas are developed using demographic information collected from users and quantitative data. In a business context, user personas describe the goals, desires, and limitations of a client segment.

Step two - user stories

A user story originates in computer software design. For example: “As [a user persona], I want [to perform this action] so that [I can accomplish this goal].”

Step three - story mapping 

A user story map arranges user stories into a more holistic view of the overall user experience within a given system, exploring change within that system.

We offer in-house, one day, training for up to a team of 15 at a standard rate of £1850 plus VAT. Throughout the year we offer training to individuals, follow our eventbrite page for up to date information.
